    EMS Expert Search is in the process of identifying experts for the GTZ tender "Vocational education".

    The objective of this (first) phase of the GTZ-funded project consists in the establishment of a vocational academy at the University of Durres, anchoring courses of vocational education in initial technical fields (starting with hotel business/ tourism, banking and construction) according to the needs of the national economy.

    The experts will fulfill short-term assignments and will be able to start from May, 2007.

    Required qualifications:

    Academic degree in vocational and technical education or a related field;
    Professional experience in at least one of the following fields, related to vocational education:
    Competence needs assessment;
    Development of occupational standards and curricula;
    Technical and management training;
    Involvement of private companies in the educational process;
    Equipment planning;
    Development of learning and teaching materials;
    Testing and certification;
    Technical cooperation with a German vocational academy;
    Good command of written and spoken English, knowledge of German and / or Albanian.

    The ToR of this assignment is available upon request.

    Job Description : Must have excellent communication skills . Managing costs on a wide variety of new building projects and structures , such as residential – business developments , hotels , offices and shopping centers . Undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work , preparing early stage budgets and detailed cost plans , performing risk and value management and cost control . Advising on procurement strategy , preparing tender and contract documents , including bills of quantities , identifying analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks .     Working experience : minimum 15 years experience directly related to Safety of Construction , minimum 10 years of which in the capacity of Safety Manger Experience in the development and implementation of Construction Safety Program for large Commercial and High-Rise buildings. First Aid certification and any other certification that are related to Safety. As Safety Manager Quantity to take role in Building Construction ( 2 Projects similar to the Projects in question, with the Value of minimum 30 Millions EUR-s )
